Monthly Bookish Wrap Up: August 2021

Hello bookish friends! It’s time, once again, for our Monthly Bookish Wrap Up. August has come to a close, which means that summer is winding down and we’re getting mentally prepared for fall. Sami started grad school, Liz got a promotion, and we didn’t read as much as we normally do. But that’s okay! Life gets in the way, which just makes our reading time all the more precious.

Sami read some excellent 5-star books in August, and Liz continued on her Bridgerton journey by completing two more books in the series. We are currently planning our fall reading. We both make an effort to read a few books that coincide with the seasons, so we’re on the lookout for cozy, atmospheric books. Liz also loves a good, creepy horror book as well. Drop any recommendations in the comments below! Do you like to read along with the seasons?

Without further ado, here is our Monthly Bookish Wrap Up for the month of August. Let us know your favorite reads from August as well. We love to hear what other people are reading.
